Amenyo Setordie

Our team is led by Mr. Amenyo Setordzie, a chartered accountant and investment banker with over 20 years of experience.  His background spans various related fields which include corporate and investment banking, SME advisory, sustainable business and product development and enhancing private sector development.

Prior to establishing Gladmen Consulting, he had worked at senior management level in various institutions. He was the Managing Director of EGAS Capital Limited and FirstbanC Financial Services Limited. He also worked with UMB Investment Holdings Limited (UMB-IHL) as the Chief Operation Officer.   He had also worked in Johannesburg, South Africa as a Senior Project Officer with African Management Services Company (AMSCO), an affiliate of International Finance Corporation (IFC). AMSCO was a project set up by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), African Development Bank, Agence Francaise de Developpement, (Proparco), Norwegian Development Fund (Norfund) and other development finance institutions. While working with AMSCO, he was in charge of South Africa, Zambia and Democratic Republic of Congo.

Other institutions that Amenyo worked with were Agence Française de Développement, (Proparco), Securities and Exchange Commission, Merchant Bank Ghana Limited and Ernst and Young.

His past employments also brought him into working relationships with entrepreneurs, SMEs, private equity funds, investment advisory firms, investment banks, family offices and development financial institutions across the globe.

He holds BSc Administration (Finance and Banking) and an MBA (Finance) from the University of Ghana Business School, Legon. He obtained a certificate in Investment Appraisal and Risk Analysis from Queen’s University, John Deutsch International Programmes, Ontario, Canada and  a certificate in Professional Project Management from The George Washington University Business School, Washington, USA.
